I’ve long wanted to see, on a single page, all the tasks required of me across the multiple Basecamp accounts and projects that I’m a part of. I’m thrilled to announce that now, any user of the 37signals products can do just this. And for good measure, you can see all your Highrise tasks and Backpack reminders on this page as well.

Using MailChimp and Highrise together to create mailing lists and track campaigns

Over at Highrise Answers, Tim Lydell asks about integrating Mailchimp with Highrise. Randall Robinson answers:

We regularly use MailChimp and Highrise together to create new mailing lists and track campaigns. Here's an example:

1) In Highrise, I assign a tag to a specific group of people I want to contact, perhaps just "Clients".
2) In MailChimp, I create a new list and tell it use contacts from Highrise with the "Clients" tag.
3) After the campaign is created and sent, MailChimp will then create a note for each of those contacts within Highrise describing what time the email was sent to them and how many times they've opened or clicked on items. MailChimp also creates a new case in Highrise where it lists all the details for the campaign.

I think MailChimp provides updates for the campaign for only 2 days in Highrise, but it's still very easy to set up and gives enough information for what we need.

Use Mumboe with Highrise to keep track of business agreements and contracts

Mumboe provides web-based software that helps businesses manage their contractual agreements with customers, partners and employees. And it integrates with Highrise.

If you’re like us, you have a CRM system and a contract management system. Both include important information about your clients, but they are two distinct silos of information with different purposes and functions. Customer phone, address, and email information is common to both and that information needs to be accurate, current, and identical in all locations.

As users of Highrise, we needed a way to import and sync our contacts with Mumboe. Fortunately Highrise has an API and we were able to tie the applications together. We thought this would be a useful feature for all Mumboe users who also happen to use Highrise, so we made it available to everyone. 37signals has now graciously listed Mumboe on their Extras & Add-Ons page for products that work with Highrise.

If you would like to sync your Highrise account to your Mumboe account you can do so on the Admin >> Settings >> Sync External Contacts tab in Mumboe. We also have a short video tutorial covering Contacts to help point you in the right direction.

Wedding planners love how Formstack integrates with Highrise

Sage Wedding Pros is "a resource for wedding professionals who want to have smarter businesses." Recently, the site's Michelle Loretta wrote about how she loves the integration between Formstack and Highrise.

Once I started using 37signals’ Highrise to manage my client information and communication I needed to have everything get into Highrise in one easy step...Formstack is easy to use and I love how it integrates with Highrise. You build your form or questionnaire in a few steps. You can add your logo and customize it so that it ties with your company branding. For me the branding match is more important than having a “template” form.

To integrate with Highrise, simply input your merge code (called an API key). Voila! When someone completes a form the data (name, address, phone, etc) goes directly into your Highrise database. No need to copy over info to multiple programs. You can also integrate with Mailchimp (for newsletters), Paypal, and a bunch of other programs. You can also embed the form onto your website.

FreshBooks Add-on Store launches with Highrise on board

FreshBooks, a leading online invoicing tool, just unveiled the official FreshBooks Add-on Store. It includes a free add-on for Highrise.

Combining Highrise from 37signals with FreshBooks makes it easy to go from managing leads, to invoicing them as clients. The Highrise sync tool lets you do this with a few clicks, no need to re-create your contacts in FreshBooks...

As your contacts go from leads to clients, you’ll eventually need to bring them into FreshBooks for invoicing. All you need to do is add a tag to your contacts in Highrise, then login to the sync tool and pull your tagged contacts (or all of them if you want) into FreshBooks.

FreshBooks has over 60 Add-on partners and will be adding more to the Add-on Store in the future.

Tout templatizes repetitive emails and integrates with Highrise

Are you tired of re-writing the same emails? Tout lets you templatize repetitive emails so you can avoid endless copying-and-pasting.

In the past, we've discussed how Zopim Live Chat integrates with Highrise and how Highrise seals deals for WebGreek. Here's another chapter to the story: In "Pull your customers closer with every chat," Patrick Allen, CEO of WebGreek and a daily Zopim user, shares how he builds great relationships with his customers by remembering everything they say with the Zopim-Highrise integration.

As soon as the conversation is over, Zopim presents a nice little dialog that allows us to save the conversation directly to Highrise. If the email we provide is already in our Highrise account, the conversation is automatically tagged to the existing record. Seems trivial…so why are we so amped on the integration???
