At the Basecamp Customer Forum, jdub recently asked: "Is there a way I can either set a user's opening page to the project page, or achieve the same result (ideally within Basecamp) some other way?"
Answer: Yes. Go to that Basecamp project and click the "Settings" link in the upper right corner of the screen. On this screen, you can select the project's start page. This is the first page people see when they view the project. You can choose from: Overview, All Messages, To-Do's, and Milestones.
